Mound Westonka High School issued the following announcement.
On March 25, Governor Tim Walz announced that Minnesota schools will remain closed and will implement distance learning March 30-May 4.
All Westonka Schools buildings will remain closed to students and the public through May 4, with the exception of the emergency childcare program. Employees who are essential to continuing district operations will report to buildings, as notified by their supervisor.
Westonka Schools will begin distance learning for all grades on Monday, March 30. Review the Westonka Public Schools Distance Learning Plan.
Westonka's food support and emergency childcare programs will resume on Monday, March 30. Updates will be posted to our COVID-19 web page.
After-school and evening activities and community education classes are canceled until further notice. Adventure Club will remain closed through May 4. The Westonka Activity Center is also closed until further notice.
