Rep. Eric Lucero has taken to Facebook to encourage his residents amid the widespread coronavirus.
He took a step outdoors in a video just over one minute long, to offer hope during the pandemic.
“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of those that are working so hard in this time of crisis to keep us safe. I also wanted to send a message to each and every one of us who have been impacted," he said.
He reminded his constituents that while this isn’t the first time life-changing challenges have hit the country, he’s confident that the nation will overcome, just as it has in the past.
“We are strong people, we have the endurance, and we’re all in this together. As we continue to pray to the Lord, to keep the faith, to know that we will come through. We just need to hang in there," Lucero said.
He also reassured his residents that he’s still there to help them.
