Hopkins home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Hopkins rose by $27,750 while total sales increased by 29.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 136 homes sold, with a median sale price of $267,750 - a 11.6% increase over the $240,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 105 homes sold in Hopkins in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hopkins for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,387, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
