Edina home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Edina rose by $44,370 while total sales decreased by 15.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 145 homes sold, with a median sale price of $565,000 - a 8.5% increase over the $520,630 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 172 homes sold in Edina in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Edina for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $6,269, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
