Hopkins home prices fall in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Hopkins fell by $10,575 while total sales increased by 45.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,000 - a 3.6% decrease over the $295,575 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Hopkins in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hopkins for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,387, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
