Shorewood home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Shorewood rose by $132,550 while total sales decreased by 15.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $550,000 - a 31.8% increase over the $417,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Shorewood in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Shorewood for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,414, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
