Bloomington home prices unchanged in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Bloomington was unchanged while total sales increased by 30.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 288 homes sold, with a median sale price of $259,950. There were 220 homes sold in Bloomington in the fourth quarter of 2017, and the median sales price for the period was also $259,950.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,927, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
