St. Louis Park home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in St. Louis Park rose by $28,500 while total sales increased by 13.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 173 homes sold, with a median sale price of $294,500 - a 10.7% increase over the $266,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 152 homes sold in St. Louis Park in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Louis Park for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,210, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
