Mound home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Mound rose by $25,000 while total sales increased by 12.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 65 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 11.1% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 58 homes sold in Mound in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mound for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,899, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
