Excelsior home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Excelsior rose by $45,000 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $475,000 - a 10.5% increase over the $430,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Excelsior in the third quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,453, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
