Minneapolis home prices rise in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Minneapolis rose by $19,400 while total sales decreased by 20.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 307 homes sold, with a median sale price of $269,900 - a 7.7% increase over the $250,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 388 homes sold in Minneapolis in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Minneapolis for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,968, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for December 2019.
