Sen. Bruce Anderson recently posted on his Facebook page about Gov. Tim Walz reopening certain parts of the economy in Minnesota.
In particular, certain office-based and industrial businesses will be able to resume operations.
According to the Minnesota Employment and Economic Development website, Executive Order 20-48 will permit non-customer facing places of employment as well as office businesses to reopen. Also, companies which sell products can now engage in pickup and delivery or curbside pickup.
This is the first phase in safely allowing people in Minnesota to return to work.
“It is a small step but I am glad that he is starting to listen to Minnesotans and get people back to work safely. We will keep working to reopen Minnesota for more businesses. We can find a balance and safe procedures together," Anderson wrote on his Facebook page.
The stay-at-home order in Minnesota is extended until May 15.
