AQUILA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Action Required: Elementary School Parents/Guardians to Select In-Person Learning or Distance Learning Academy For Students by December 28

Aquila Elementary School issued the following announcement.

St. Louis Park Public Schools elementary students will return to school beginning January 19; specifically, elementary students will learn:

In-person at school or remotely in the Distance Learning Academy (remainder of 2020-21 school year commitment);

Full-days, from 7:45 a.m.-2:15 p.m.; and

5-days per week.

Students who previously registered for the Hybrid Learning Model will now learn In-person at school. Students previously registered for the Distance Learning Academy will have no change in learning model. 

At this time, St. Louis Park Public Schools is allowing elementary parents/guardians to change the selected learning model for their student(s). Parents/guardians who are requesting a change in their child’s educational delivery model need to fill out the Change Form. The DEADLINE to fill out the Change Form is Noon on Monday, December 28.

The St. Louis Park Public Schools School Board will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22 to discuss and consider all of the recent recommended changes to the District’s Safe Learning Plan.
