Home prices increased in Bloomington during the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Bloomington rose by $7,100 while total sales decreased by 69.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 77 homes sold, with a median sale price of $297,000 - a 2.4% increase over the $289,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 251 homes sold in Bloomington in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,580, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
