Home prices increased in Mound during the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Mound rose by $68,900 while total sales decreased by 44.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 64 homes sold, with a median sale price of $319,900 - a 27.5% increase over the $251,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 115 homes sold in Mound in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mound for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,196, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
