The second half of 2020: Home prices in Tonka Bay increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Tonka Bay rose by $1,264,500 while total sales decreased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $1,749,000 - a 261% increase over the $484,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Tonka Bay in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Tonka Bay for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,533, approximately 0.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
