Excelsior home prices fell in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Excelsior fell by $222,250 while total sales decreased by 60%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $436,250 - a 33.8% decrease over the $658,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Excelsior in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,838, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
