The first quarter of 2021: Home prices in Minnetonka increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Minnetonka rose by $24,000 while total sales decreased by 55.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 62 homes sold, with a median sale price of $451,000 - a 5.6% increase over the $427,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 138 homes sold in Minnetonka in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Minnetonka for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,782, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
