Home prices increased in Bloomington during the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Bloomington rose by $42,500 while total sales decreased by 13.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 162 homes sold, with a median sale price of $347,000 - a 14% increase over the $304,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 188 homes sold in Bloomington in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,580, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
