What happened to the median home price in Excelsior during the first half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Excelsior fell by $36,050 while total sales decreased by 53.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $622,450 - a 5.5% decrease over the $658,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Excelsior in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,838, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
