Orono median home prices fell by 19.5% in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Orono fell by $185,000 while total sales increased by 60.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $765,000 - a 19.5 percent decrease from the $950,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Orono in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Orono for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,598, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
