Q2: Home prices in Minnetonka increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Minnetonka rose by $64,000 while total sales increased by 75 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 217 homes sold, with a median sale price of $539,000 - a 13.5 percent increase over the $475,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 124 homes sold in Minnetonka in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Minnetonka for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,782, approximately 0.9 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
