Eden Prairie home prices rose in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Eden Prairie rose by $32,500 while total sales increased by 34 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 327 homes sold, with a median sale price of $475,000 - a 7.3 percent increase over the $442,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 244 homes sold in Eden Prairie in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Eden Prairie for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,772, approximately one percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
