Excelsior median home prices fell by 30.8% in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Excelsior fell by $200,000 while total sales decreased by 36.4 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $450,000 - a 30.8 percent decrease from the $650,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Excelsior in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,838, approximately 1.5 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
