City Of Edina recently issued the following announcement.
Valley View Road will be closed just North of Highway 62 from Monday, August 1 at 7 a.m. to Monday, August 8 at 7 a.m., Northbound Valley View Road will be shut down at the Crosstown highway (the ramp to Westbound Crosstown will remain open). A detour will be posted for drivers to follow. The detour for Northbound traffic will be East on West 65th Street, to France Avenue going North to West 62nd Street, and then back to Valley View Road. The Eastbound traffic on Valley View Road can go South on Brookview Avenue which will bring drivers back to Valley View Road.
The closure is to allow for utility work to be done in the area. Traffic should avoid this area if possible.
