City Of Hopkins issued the following announcement on Nov. 11.
Good news! Excelsior Boulevard is now open in both directions following the completion of the Excelsior LRT bridge over the roadway.
Crews will continue to work through the winter, including installing LRT track. In the future, there may be short term closures of Excelsior Boulevard while crews finish the LRT bridge, however, long duration closures are not currently expected.
