Within the past couple of hours, there has been some alleged information circulating on social media about a vehicle being stolen from Brooklyn Center with a 3-4 year old child inside of it. Officers believe that a vehicle has been stolen from Brooklyn Center, but the alleged information about a child being in the vehicle at the time was false. Officers have confirmed that the child has been home and safe all evening. This investigation is still extremely early in its evolution.
