How many Westonka Public School District students took their MCA and MTAS Reading tests in 2021-22 school year?

Westonka Public School District ranked 12th in the Hennepin County for test participation, with 1,222 students taking the Reading portion of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment and the Minnesota Test of Academic Skills in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Minnesota Department of Education.

The number of Westonka Public School District students taking the tests in the 2021-22 school year rose by 4.9% over the previous year.

Westonka Public School District's students achieved an average Reading proficiency rate of 73% in 2021-22 school year.

10th-grade students stood out with 31% of them exceeding standards in Reading, which was the highest recorded proficiency at the district.

On the other hand, eighth grade students had the most room for improvement, with 17% not meeting the expected standards.
