Kerwin Walton, former Hopkins High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, March 20 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Thursday, March 20, former Hopkins High School standout Kerwin Walton’s current collegiate team the Texas Tech Red Raiders won 82-72 against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in INTRUST Bank Arena, this was the first game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks during the championship.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 5:10 p.m. in INTRUST Bank Arena against Drake Bulldogs.

Kerwin Walton’s game position is guard.
