On Saturday, March 22, former St. Louis Park High School standout Selam Maher’s current collegiate team the Smith Pioneers lost 77-49 against the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Cregger Center, this was the first game against the NYU Violets during the championship.

Selam Maher’s hometown is Hopkins and game position is guard.
