Lauren Granger, former Hopkins High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, May 9 in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Friday, May 9, former Hopkins High School standout Lauren Granger’s current collegiate team the West Texas A&M Buffaloes won 2-1 against the Angelo State Rams in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Angelo State Rams in the tournament.

The West Texas A&M Buffaloes’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Schaeffer Park.
