Former Hopkins High School standout Lauren Granger played on Thursday, May 15 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 15, former Hopkins High School standout Lauren Granger’s current collegiate team the West Texas A&M Buffaloes lost 11-8 against the UT Tyler Patriots in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Irwin Field at 4 p.m. and was the first matchup against the UT Tyler Patriots in the tournament.

The West Texas A&M Buffaloes’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 3 p.m. at Irwin Field.
