On Monday, March 24, four former Hopkins High School standouts, including Brock Zimmer, Gabe Olson, Marcus Champagne and Paul Safranski’s current college team, the Upper Iowa Peacocks, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at Historic Simmons Field. This was their first matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Peacocks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at Robertson Woods Field against Rockhurst Hawks.
