Andrew Myers, a candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives, has recently used his social media platform to address community concerns and highlight local initiatives.

On August 27, 2025, Myers responded to a tragic incident affecting a local school. He wrote, "Today was not only an attack on a school — it was an attack on our sense of safety and on the very heart of our community. My heart aches for the families of the two children whose lives were taken, for those now fighting to heal, and for everyone forced to navigate this trauma."

The following day, August 28, 2025, Myers turned his attention to park development in the region. In his post he stated: "Thank you to the @threeriverspark for meeting to discuss park improvements and trail safety across the metro. Exicted to be partnering on strategic investments in the outdoors for Minneaoans. #parks #trails #listening #yourbackyard #TogetherWeCan #solutions"

On August 29, 2025, Myers shared his participation in a state tradition with a brief message: "So it begins! @mnstatefair @bigfatbacon"

Myers' public comments reflect both ongoing community challenges and opportunities for civic engagement in Minnesota. As a candidate for legislative office, his statements touch on public safety concerns following recent violence affecting schools as well as efforts to improve recreational spaces throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area.
