The median sale price of a home sold in 2025 in Hennepin County rose by $20,000, while total sales increased by 0.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

Throughout 2025, 12,106 homes were sold in the county, with a median sale price of $400,000. This is a 5.3% increase over the $380,000 median sale price during the same period in 2024, when there were 12,099 homes sold.

Based on the latest available data from 2024, the median property tax in Hennepin County was $4,795, which stands at 1.2% of the median home sale price for 2025.

U.S. home prices continued to rise in 2025, with the national median reaching about $447,000 in June. That’s up 1.13% from a year earlier, according to Redfin.
