City Of Excelsior issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
The Open House is a fun filled evening for kids of all ages and adults. The evening is packed with fire and life safety activities, exhibits, and demonstrations like riding a fire truck, learning about power line safety, and touring an ambulance. Sparky the Fire Dog will be there to pose for pictures and give out hugs, new Fire Chief, Curt Mackey will be available for handshakes and questions, and Freddie the Fire Truck will be sounding his siren and talking to the kids.
