City of Rogers issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
It is with great sadness to announce that Rogers Police Officer, Blake Neumann, died unexpectedly this morning while off-duty. Officer Neumann was a well-respected and knowledgeable officer, and had honorably served our city since 2014. Blake leaves behind a fiancé and two young children. Our police department family, and city staff, are mourning our tremendous loss, and will miss Blake greatly. You will see a Rogers Police squad parked in front of our police department for the next several days as a remembrance of Officer Neumann while we work with his family to plan his final arrangements. As always, we appreciate the outpouring of support from our remarkable community. Thank you for being here for us.
