Bloomington home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Bloomington rose by $12,900 while total sales decreased by 58.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 161 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,000 - a 4.5% increase over the $287,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 389 homes sold in Bloomington in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Bloomington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,580, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
