CITY OF ROGERS: Rogers Small Business Emergency Assistance Program Deadline Extension

Business

City Of Rogers issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.

The City of Rogers is acutely aware of the strain that COVID-19 and the related Executive Order Stay-at-Home orders and “shutdowns” have taken on our small business community.  Small businesses are vital to the fabric of Rogers, providing employment, products, services and entertainment to our residents and visitors.

To that end, the Rogers City Council has adopted the Small Business Emergency Assistance Program to help ensure the viability of the community’s small businesses which have been impacted by the executive orders.  The goal of this program is to provide needed financing for local businesses to help address working capital needs and sustain operations during this challenging time.  The program will provide a limited amount of general grant funding to such businesses ($10,000 max award for those who do not also receive liquor license reimbursement), in addition to 2020 liquor license fee reimbursement for on-sale liquors license holders.  General grant funds are available on a first‐come, first‐considered basis and funding is limited.

For more information and a link to the online application, please visit www.rogersmn.gov/small-business-emergency-assistance-program. Applications must be received by September 25, 2020!
