City Manager Bell | City of Crystal
The Crystal City Council recently approved an employment agreement with Adam R. Bell, officially making him Crystal’s new city manager. His anticipated start date is Jan. 17, 2023.
Bell was the city administrator for the City of Bayport., Minn. for nearly six years. He also worked for the City of Lake Elmo as the assistant city administrator/city clerk (1.5 years), city clerk (one year), and deputy clerk (three months). Bell also worked as a department supervisor – recording/vital statistics (two years) and an assistant department supervisor – administration (1.5 years) for the Denton County Clerk’s Office in Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Gustavus Adolphus College and a juris doctor degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Long-time Crystal City Manager Anne Norris retired on Oct. 28. Norris had worked for the City of Crystal for 31 years and had been the city manager for 22 years.
