City Of Eden Prairie issued the following announcement on Feb. 03.
Last call for Eden Prairie K-12 students to enter the 2023 Black History Month Words in Action Contest!
Select a quote by a Black American civil rights leader that inspires you. Then, submit your original art, poem, speech, video, music (or whatever you're inspired to create!), expressing what that quote means to you.
But get those entries in soon! The 2023 Black History Month Words in Action Contest closes Monday, Feb. 6.
Winners will be recognized at a City Council meeting, featured on the City's website and social media platforms. Cash prizes are made possible through the generous support of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation
