Join us for another Story and Art Time! This week’s book, “Anansi the Spider” by Gerald McDermot, teaches us about the great folk hero from the Ashanti people in Ghana, Africa. The illustrations mix geometric shapes with patterned motifs to create gorgeous images of Anansi and his adventures. We will take this inspiration to design our own mythological creature puppets who have their own stories to tell.
